Whether it’s for vacation or pure wanderlust, man has the urge to travel. Some may be content to plant their roots in one place, but the lure of the new and the exotic sends people across the street and around the world.

Throughout history, people have looked at the horizon and yearned to know what lies beyond. Even today with the Internet at our fingertips showing ever corner of the world, it’s just not enough. People want to see if for themselves.

So why do people travel?

To Visit Family

Most everyone has family ties that extend far beyond their place of birth. Many people want to connect to a piece of their past by visiting where their ancestors came from.

To Experience Different Cultures

There is only so much information you can get from books and online. We want to get first-hand experience with a different culture. Eat the different foods, speak to the people and experience how they live. Because of changes like Kazakhstan Democracy, countries once not available for tourists have now opened their doors to world travelers.

To See the Wonders of the World

It’s one thing to read about Niagara Falls, it’s totally different to stand by the rails and watch and listen as thousands of gallons of water drop over the edge. To some people, these things aren’t real until they experience it first-hand.

To Challenge Themselves

Can I climb this mountain? Will I be able to navigate this river? People want to directly confront the world and see if they are up to the challenge.

Worldwide travel is on the increase. More and more people are choosing to experience the world and discover new places and people.

Every traveler develops a checklist of things to take on vacation, whether for personal effects or your tv schedules from http://www.direct.tv. But before you can start packing, you need to understand the basic rules of packing for a vacation. These are some tips you can use to make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your next holiday trip.

1) Pack for their weather, not yours.

Some people make the mistake of packing clothing that applies to the conditions they are leaving, and not the conditions they are headed to. If live in Buffalo, NY, but you are headed to Orlando, FL for a October vacation, then you may not need the winter jacket. Research your destination and pack the things you will need for your vacation.

2) Take an extra day with you.

You never know what will happen on vacation, so that is why you should always pack for at least one extra day. If you are going on a seven-day vacation, then pack eight days worth of underwear and socks. Some people like to pack for more than one extra day, and that will help you be even more prepared in case something happens. But if you are limited on suitcase space, then pack one extra day with you.

3) Don’t pack things you can get there.

People will sometimes buy travel size toothpaste or deodorant to bring with them on vacation. Unless you plan on going someplace where there are no stores, then you can save the suitcase space and buy those items when you get there.

When you know how to pack for a vacation, you can be better-prepared for anything that could happen.

When you travel in India, you should know the do’s and dont’s. India is a diverse country. It has many states, and each of them are like a country on their own.

India has plenty of rural places. Urban places are lesser in number. Traveling across India can be an intriguing experience. Various facets of humanity is at display in many manifestations.

Foreign tourists often fall sick in India. They might not have adequate knowledge of the do’s and dont’s when in India. The following are a list of items of things not to do in India.

Don’t drink tap water

Don’t drink water from the tap, unless you want the risk of getting diseases related to water-contamination. Water pipes in India are buried under the Earth. They might have leaks. The quality of regulation of such water pipes depends on which part of India you are in.

Making out in public

Don’t ever do it. It is seen as a discourteous indication everywhere in India. You also might be thought of as someone who is ready to make out with many people.

Shake hand with your left-hand

Most Indians are right-handed. They might expect you to give them your right-hand to shake. The left-hand is often considered a hand that is used to wash the ass, and considered not a good hand to extend hand-shakes!

Asking for beef

Be careful when you ask for beef in certain parts of India. The cow is considered sacred in most parts of the country.

Holding the distinction of being Spain’s second largest city, Barcelona is full of attractions. Lying on the banks of the Mediterranean Sea. Dating back to 200 BC when the Romans set up their civilization here, this place still has very strong Roman roots.

Full of interesting museums, there’s much to see and explore in Barcelona. Having plenty of picturesque squares, and places of religious interest, this place is a perfect blend between the past and present.

One such square is the Gothic Quarter. It is located at the center of Barcelona. Buildings dating back to 200 BC stand here. Showing architectural styles that existed during the Medieval and Roman times, the buildings have undergone preservations.

Barcelona is a city of entertainment. So much happens here all the time. Named as Europe’s favorite destination for entertainment tourism, Spain visitors compulsively visit Barcelona. Lot of activities goes on all year round. Be it nightlife, discos, late night café’s and the like.

Shopping gets no better than done at Las Ramblas. Las Rambla is a famous shopping stretch. Here, you will see musicians performing on streets. Rapt listeners surround these musicians to enjoy an open-air concert. You can get all the latest brands of clothing on this street. You name it, there’s definitely something like that in this place.

To see how Barcelona looks from the top, head to Tibidabo. This is a mountain. From here you can see Barcelona. It is five hundred and twelve meters tall. Offering wonderful views of Barcelona city, this mountain sees a sea of tourists all year round. Tibidabo also has an amusement park and a church. You can visit these too. One of the earliest, the Amusement parks has some vintage amusement equipment. This makes it different from modern amusement parks. You can get to see how people amused themselves years back.

There’s a lot to see and do in Barcelona. It is truly a place full of variety and surprises. It is also a great city to invest in its products and resources. Forex investment companies like UFX Markets offer these services. Tradition and trend are closely interwoven to create a city that is truly modern, yet has not lost its roots.

With the exception of Southwest Airlines, all airlines charge for baggage now. It can get expensive. The standard fee is $50 per bag. So do you really need to check baggage?

If you’re going on an extended vacation, the answer is yes, probably. But most people only travel for a week, maybe two at most. You can get 7-14 days worth of clothes into one bag that you can carry-on and stow instead of checking. Not only does this save you money, but it also saves you from having to sit at the airport baggage claim, scanning the rotating suitcases for your familiar ones. It also saves you from the nightmare of lost baggage, when your whole trip suddenly gets rearranged as a frantic airline tries to figure out where your bag went.

By carrying on one piece of luggage, you can go about your trip on your schedule. So here’s the “weapons and ammo only” approach to packing:

Recycle Your Clothes

No, not literally. But things like socks and underwear can be washed. Pack a week’s worth, and do laundry.

Dressed to…

Think about the clothes you’re packing. Are you bringing that sweater because you really need it, or because it might get chilly and if it does you want to impress someone? What’s your motivation? It may sound silly, but it’s a valid point. Treat your pants the same as the socks: wear them a couple of days, and wash them. You’ll save space, time, and money. It’s a win-win.

Pockets

Forget to leave space for a bathroom bag? You can carry a pretty mean load in a pair of cargoes.

There are lots of things that can go wrong while you are on vacation, but one of the most stressful to deal with is getting in a car accident. There are so many questions that will run through your head when it happens. Where is the nearest hospital? Is my family OK? Will we be able to complete our vacation? How much money is this going to cost me? How do I get a rental car? All of these are valid questions, but you need to stay calm and take care of the situation.

Get checked out at the hospital. This is the first thing you should do. Everyone that was in the car should see a doctor to make sure there is no internal bleeding. Any pain should be addressed and treated immediately to prevent any problems from getting worse.

Make an insurance claim. You should call your insurance company at your earliest convenience and let them know what happened and who is at fault. The insurance company will investigate the claim and help make sure you are taken care of. They can even help with a rental car.

Consult with a lawyer. This is also necessary, especially if someone was injured. A Los Angeles California personal injury lawyer can help you understand if you have a case and help you proceed to get the compensation you deserve.

Car accidents are not fun, especially if they happen while you are on vacation. Just be prepared for the unexpected, so you’ll know what to do if it does happen.

Traveling for business or on vacation is exciting and fun. You can get much more out of your trip if you employ the services of a travel agent. Before deciding whether or not to look for a good travel agent, it helps to understand how a travel agent can help you maximize your travel dollar.

1) First-hand experience of the destinations.

Travel agents often travel themselves. Many of the hotels and transportation companies want agents to try their service so that they can sell the service from first-hand experience. A travel agent can help you find the best places to go on your trip, get you familiar with local customs and also help you understand the commerce system in a foreign country so that you are not taken advantage of by local merchants.

2) The pricing can be competitive.

Travel agencies often purchase blocks of services from hotels, airlines and other travel vendors. The travel agents then break up these blocks and pass the savings on to the client. You can realize significant travel savings by using a travel agent as opposed to arranging your travel on your own.

3) One central travel administrator.

In order to arrange travel, you need to speak to a transportation company, hotel, car rental company and a bank about currency exchanges if you are traveling overseas. A travel agent can take care of all of your arrangements for you and give you one central place for all of your travel needs.

You can make your next trip much less confusing by using a travel agent. Take advantage of the pricing specials and travel experience that travel agents offer.

Traveling to a different country can be one of the most exciting adventures you ever have during your lifetime. If you’ve done international traveling before, you are probably already well versed in what is best to take along as far as cash is concerned, what to pack and if there are areas of the country you should avoid. For first time international travelers, things might get a bit confusing and overwhelming, but using the tips given from more experienced travelers may help.

One import tip if you are visiting a third world country is to check with your physician to see is you need any vaccines. You don’t want to arrive at your dream destination and become ill. Many countries do not have very high standards as far as sanitation of drinking water and food is concerned. Research the area that you will be visiting to find out if conditions are up to par safety-wise. If not, take the necessary precautions to stay healthy, such as drinking only bottled water and eating only foods that you know are fresh and handled properly.

In most countries, cash is easily exchangeable, but for others it might be best to find out what type of currency is used and what the differences are as far as cash value is concerned. In this way you will be able to calculate how much cash you will need for items such as your hotel room, food and any attractions you will be going to. Also do research to see if there will be debit and/or ATM machines available. Things that you normally take for granted, may not be available in some parts of the world.

Usually, you have to book hotels and plan your route, as well as decide where to stop, and you need to budget any expenses. Along with these preparations, you need to decide what method you will use for transportation. Traveling by car, RV, and airplane are some of the most common forms of transportation that you may consider.

When you travel by car, a lot must be done to prepare your car for travel. First, determine what needs to be done to the car depending on how far you are traveling, then you can either fix or tune it yourself, or you can go to a local garage. While you travel, you want to consider the cost of gas, travel time, and hotel expenses.

When traveling by RV, you may choose several different options. You may rent an RV, buy your own, or borrow a friend’s. When you travel by RV, especially when renting, you want to make sure you have RV insurance in case something happens on your trip. You will want to consider the cost of gas and food, and make sure you research campsites so you can factor in costs and travel time from campsite to campsite.

Airplane transportation is great if you’re traveling far away, such as across the country, or even to another country. When you travel on a plane, you will have to research ticket prices, the airline rules, such as how much luggage you can take with you, and you need to consider how you will get to and from the airport.

When packing for a holiday most people have two things in mind; how can I fit all my clothes and how can I pack them so they do not wrinkle?

Packing a suitcase efficiently will provide you with more space, and will also save you time when you reach your destination. You will know where everything is, and you will not have to waste as much time ironing.

Here are some tips to pack your suitcase effectively:

Start off by having a checklist of everything you need. That way you won’t forget anything.

Lay everything out you are wanting to take. This enables you to see that you have everything you need. It also enables you to see if you have doubled up on anything.

If you have an itinerary of events for your holiday, plan what you would like to wear for each activity.

Pack the heavier and bulkier items first so they are at the bottom of the suitcase. Tightly fold or roll these items so they take up less space.

For all of the less bulkier items, such as t-shirts, sweaters, etc…rolling is the best way to economize on space. It is also the best way to prevent your clothes from wrinkling as much as possible.

For toiletries, make sure they are in a separate bag, and that you are only taking what you absolutely need.

If there is not a separate compartment in your suitcase to put your shoes, place them on top of everything you have packed. If you place them heel to toe (like how you find them in a shoebox) it will save on space.

Happy traveling!

Right before you are about to give birth is the time when many couples like to get away. You and your spouse are aware of the immense change your life is going to take and so getting away for one last time is a great way to clear your head before midnight feedings and crying at 6 am. So here are four of the best places to babymoon.

Las Vegas

Your week by week pregnancy can change so therefore you want to hit up Vegas before things change dramatically. It’s a great place where you can really kick back and do something outside of yourself. Come for a weekend and you can get really great room rates right off the strip.

Hawaii

Hawaii has long been a great destination for couples in all stages of life. With a gorgeous coast everywhere you look and a climate that is truly amazing, you can’t go wrong with a few days here. If you travel during the week you might find that the rates are cheaper and that will serve you well.

San Diego

If you are interested in a beach vacation, but can’t afford to fly to Hawaii, then San Diego might be the place for you. Just have a good time and relax in one of the most comfortable climates anywhere in the world.

Mexico

If you want to go to an all inclusive vacation, then Mexico is a great time. It offers amazing resorts with beautiful accommodations. You’ll be pampering yourself like you deserve.

These vacations are a perfect way to say goodbye to life before the baby. Make your travel plans soon.

Many persons end with a disastrous vacation and introspect to find out where the problems began. Nine of ten persons will identify their dealings with the travel agent as the first issue. Nine out of ten persons going on a vacation for the first time place too much trust on travel agents. They believe that the travel agent is their best friend who is going to help them enjoy a great deal.

The truth is that the travel agent is interested in earning a profit. There are many professional individuals who go beyond and try to provide good quality and value for money to retain customers. On the other hand, there are those who know that the world is full of foolish people and do not bother about things like quality and service. Hence, try to go in for independent verification of each and every hotel and plane booking done by your travel agent.

Do not bother about personal feelings of your agent. You are simply seeking confirmation and that is your right. At the end of the day, you may be the one stranded in a foreign country with an irritated wife and a hungry kid. In such a scenario, you cannot run to the travel agent with a long list of complaints. Chances are high that he or she will try to hide in the fine print.

Avoid destroying your vacation simply because your travel agent was not careful with details. A cautious approach will help you enjoy your vacation even when you are relying on others to take care of the administrative aspects.

Sagrada Familia

Sagrada Familia is a famous roman catholic church in Barcelona, Spain. Known for the architecture by famous architect Antoni Gaudi, this church is listed as a world heritage site. Antoni Gaudi never started off this project; rather he came in a year later after the building was started. He came and completely changed the way the church looked using his unique architectural genius.

By the time Gaudi dies, the church was only three-fourth complete. The churches construction carried on from money pooled by people as donations. The architectural design of this church is largely Spanish, and shares a similarity with many other famous structures – one of them is the Spanish Late Gothic.

FC Barcelona Museum

FC Barcelona museum is dedicated to the Football Club of Barcelona. The museum has three partitions. The first part has a photo and other credential collection of FC Barcelona’s history. The photos are behind a multimedia touch screen wall. The visitors can touch the screen and view the photos and other collections. Users can select various multimedia through this interactive glass-screen.

The second part is dedicated to art. There is a museum where artists display their art exhibits. The third section is dedicated to all the achievement artifacts of the football club.

Barcelona Zoo

The Barcelona Zoo is known for its dolphin shows. There are various types and kinds of animals to see. It also has places to sit down and drink coffee and also snack. Located at Parc della Cituadella, there is the lake close-by. Ferry rides are offered on this lake.

Museu Picasso

Most if not all of Pablo Picasso’s works are at Museu Picasso. This museum is a must visit when in Barcelona, for its shows the artistic pieces of one of the legends in the history of art. Though one might expect the latest Picasso works, there aren’t many. The museum houses Picasso’s earlier works. These works have a realistic touch to them, which is different from the abstract art Picasso concentrated on later in his career. You will find lots of such paintings here.

Packing is always a complex process. Whether it is a short trip or a long one, it’s difficult to perfect the art of packing. Packing requires organization and logical thinking. If the travel is across borders it also needs an understanding of cross-border rules. Airline rules are different. One needs to be cognizant of such rules.

Travelling by ship might not involve such restrictions as imposed by airliners. Airlines have weight restrictions. There is always a weight limit that air passengers have to comply with. It is always advisable to check with the airlines before packing. Because if the weight limit has exceeded one can’t obviously off load some items of the bags.

One needs to check the restrictions imposed on the amount of water being carried. Airlines stipulate the rule of carrying very less liquid. Vital items that are liquid based can be carried, but certainly not in excess. The Transportation Security Administration department requires the adherence to certain rules. Even the locks used on travel bags need to comply with certain criteria.

Packing is all about organization. Prioritization is important. It’s all about fitting in a lot of things in the best possible places using the smallest of spaces. To avoid wrinkling of clothes, just pack the clothes in an orderly fashion. Avoid packing heavy shoes. Shoes tend to increase the weight of the baggage. Instead, use footwear that is light, comfortable to wear and also goes with the color of the clothes. Better would be to buy remove and fix footwear. Such footwear has upper parts that can be removed and fit with other colored upperparts. This way it will be like having a lot of foot wears with one.

For inclement weather, including a weight-less rain guard wear will help. Even a headwear umbrella would do fine. Phew, that was quite a lot. All important documents like travel data, contact addresses, flight tickets, and other related things should be kept in a separate handbag. If money is being carried, then some extra money can be kept in the travel bag, apart from the handbag.

Barcelona is clean. All transportation systems are on-time, and have good facilities. Barcelona can be hot in the summer. So people tend to take the Metro rail as it is air-conditioned and faster to get around. Then there are the taxis in Barcelona. Most taxis are not expensive, unless if travelling to a very far off destination. Luggage can cost more. Like anywhere. All taxis charge more or less the same. You can see the rates within the taxi.

You can buy a transportation ticket based on your travel frequency. The Barcelona Card is one such ticket that lets unlimited times of travel. This card also attracts a lot of freebies and discounts along with. Depending on your card amount, you can avail discounts at various places like restaurants and shopping malls.

Barcelona Card is a better option for visitors who want to travel frequently. It saves the trouble of buying tickets regularly. There is another type of ticket called T10 Transport Ticket. This ticket will give ten trips by the Metro rail. It also gives the same amount of trips in trams, and Zone 1 areas.

In Barcelona there are transportation zones – 6 of them. Zone 1 area is located at the centre of Barcelona. Or it is the central area of the city. Sharing the same model as the London subway system, the Zone system determines the price tickets. A Zone that is farther away from the city has a comparatively higher price ticket that a Zone within the city.

T10 tickets can be bought at various places. Some of them are the airport, and at any metro station. T10 tickets are available at the entrance of RENFE train stations too. RENFE is a train-type that is similar to the Metro train.

People who are disabled or handicapped can use the special taxis. Calling the Barcelona Handicapped Adapted Taxis will send special cabs for the disabled. Going by the name of the Taxi group, it is clear that the cabs are specially designed for this purpose. Prior reservation may have to be made.

Barcelona is a large city. With so much historic backdrop to it, there is so much to see here. Tradition and trend, tie-in strongly in Barcelona. This is what makes it unique. Touted as one of the most frequented destination in Europe, Barcelona is headed as a tourist’s pilgrimage for leisure and luxury.

One of the districts of Barcelona called Ciutat Vella, has some of the oldest establishments in the country of Spain. In this district there is a long street that seems unending. It is called Les Rambles. Different parts of the street have different aspects to it. While one part will be devoted to florist shops, another part will have a line-up of entertainment centers.

If you want to feel Barcelona by foot, then you have to take a stroll on the Les Rambles street. You will see the culture of Barcelona here.

If you are at Les Rambles, then you have to Barri Gotic. You will see a lot of churches here. Shops and other establishments may have a Spanish architectural look to it that has an endearing quality.

Very close-by is another place called La Barceloneta. It is an eighteenth century neighborhood. The Mediterranean sea is close to this place. The main attraction is the beach. It is voted by visitor year on year as one of the best modern beaches. Recent reports have given a place amongst the top three beaches in the world.

Not just the beach, Barceloneta has lots of restaurants and night clubs. Party lovers can’t expect more fun and frolic. Imagine a day well-spent at the beach, and then ending it with a nice cool beer at a trendy nightclub.
Barcelona is more than what is written here. It offers plenitude of attractions. Trendy, and historic – a vital combination to keep visitors hooked to the views of the city.

Barcelona is a place known as much for its cuisine as its historic orientations. You must tickle your taste-buds with the best Spanish food to complete your odyssey in Spain. You will get to taste the most traditional dishes and the most modern ones, and sometimes a fusion of both. Food in Barcelona is un-finished without Olive oil. Almost all food have it.

Spanish cuisine also uses garlic a lot. One must say that you will never not see some tomato slices on the plate as well.
In comparison, Barcelona food has got more experimentation, than other cities in Spain. This is because of the huge number of visitors who come from all parts of the world here. As much as the regular food, Barcelona has the best fish, prawns and lobster delicacies. One might get a whiff of french connections when tasting the food.

If you want to go to a place that’s offer’s the freshest food, then Cal Pep should be it. It’s popularity is huge – evident from the sea of visitors who can’t get enough of the food here. Best known for Tapas, which is a Spanish snack, Cal Pep restaurant is a reputable place with predictable high quality food.

Cal Pep, more than being known for its Tapas, is known for Chef Pep – who is an expert Tapas cooker. Cal Pep has the very best seafood. But one thing that will bother you is the crowd. Like you there are many people looking for the good taste of the tapas and sea food. So you may have to wait, before being waited upon. But this situation is not always there, so don’t worry.

Barcelona has many such restaurants offering their own brand of food and drink. You need to catch hold of a good food guide to know where to go when in Barcelona to eat your heart out!

Barcelona is a huge city. Most visitors like to see Barcelona on foot. Barcelona is full of Antonio Gaudi’s creations. Marvelous buildings like temple of Sagrada Familia, and Parc Guell will leave the visitors with more than an eye-full. The Monjuic Mountain offers a breathtaking view of the city. It offers a three hundred and sixty degree view of the city from any point on the mountain. You can see the high ranges in Barcelona. You can also see the sea and the concrete jungle of Barcelona from the Monjuic Mountain.

A building of a modern multinational company looks like an ancient architecture. The Torre Agbar houses the offices of the Agbar corporate group, yet looks like a glittering monument. It is thirty eight storeys high, and houses more than thirty thousand offices.

It is said that this building has its architectural inspiration from a mountain named Montserrat. The mountain more or less has the same shape as the building. The Torre Agbar is a symbol of how Barcelona is flexible and creative with its architectures.

Its iconic status has risen over the years, and it has now become as famous as Barcelona.

On el Carmel, which is a hill, lays a garden with beautiful buildings. This garden is called Park Guell. This place was architected by Antonio Gaudi. The park has unique structural styles all around it. You can see nests of birds here that were designed just for that purpose. The park is home to homing birds. You will see plenty of pigeons here.

Park Guell is designed in such a way that it creates a sense of calm in the mind of the visitor. The aesthetics breathe peace and harmony. The buildings around the garden are made with a unique touch of creativity, like unique roof-shapes, and theme structures. For example, a multicolored dragon made out of mosaic stands at the fountain.

Donating your money or time to charity can help underprivileged children to lead better lives. Your kind and generous donations can help kids learn to read, get health care, and have full bellies at night.

Donate Your Car

Kars for Kids is an organization that collects used cars, boats, and more to raise money for kids in need. Instead of scrapping your old car at a junk yard, donate it to this organization. Kars 4 Kids handles all the logistics of picking up your car and the expense of towing the vehicle.

Benefits

Besides doing good for the community, there are other benefits of donating to Kars 4 Kids. You are able to write off your donation on your taxes. The organization also rewards generous people by giving donators a voucher to stay for free at a hotel. Being able to help children and get a free vacation at the same time is doubly rewarding.

Other Ways to Help

Don’t let your generosity stop with Kars for Kids. There are plenty of ways to help children in need. If you don’t have a lot of money or items to give, you can also give of your time. Organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of America are always looking for volunteers to run youth programs. You can also find ways to teach kids in your local community how to read. Even if you don’t have a car to donate, there are plenty of charities looking for clothes, food, and more. You can search charities online or contact a local church for a list of non-profit organizations. Don’t forget about the variety of charities that do fundraising walks each year. Pick a charity close to your own heart and start a walking team to raise money for research and cures of childhood illnesses.

This sport pervades the collective consciousness of the people here. Camp Nou is a football stadium in Barcelona which hosts big tournaments. One among them being UEFA champions league. It has close to one hundred thousand seats. This makes it a very large football stadium. Camp Nou is a recent name to the stadium. It was previously known as FC Barcelona Stadium.

The Catalan National Team’s home turf is at this stadium and they regularly train here. Over the years the capacity of this stadium has been increasing. The name change was done through a public vote. Polls were conducted on proposed names, and Camp Nou came out as the winner of the poll.

Now let’s move on to another interesting facet of Barcelona. Fountains. If you want to see the most colorful water fountains, then head to the Avenida Maria Cristina. This place is close to the Montjuic hill in Barcelona. This illuminated water display is a joy to watch. A combination of special color and light effects, together with music make the visit here worth it.

More than three thousand people toiled hard to make this fountain. That’s quite amazing, since most of us believe that only such many people will be needed to build huge structures like the Taj Mahal in India. But this fountain actually used so many people. Quite amazing.

Most music played as part of the fountain show is of Mozart’s. As the water shoots and dances into many directions, the music of Mozart, and dance of the water are a splendid combination. The fountain lights up the whole area and beyond like a magic lamp. Leaving visitors with a feeling of joy and happiness, this fountain is a symbol of the colorful culture in Barcelona.

Don’t worry too much about travelling to Barcelona. There are many inexpensive airlines that can take you there. You will have a wonderful trip to this place without major expenses. You will be spending for sure, but definitely not exorbitantly. Barcelona’s airport is not on the outskirts of the city. It is very much close to the city. You can get into the city centers from the Airport with half-an-hour.

Barcelona is bordered on one side by the Mediterranean Sea. Being Catalonia’s capital city, and one of the largest cities in Spain, Barcelona is a center of culture and modernity. If you are a movie buff then you must visit the IMAX Cinema in Barcelona. It is located in Port Vell. This was the first of its kind in the world. Supporting three technologies, the IMAX theatre redefines the paradigms of motion picture viewing.

The first technology is the general technology of the IMAX. With an area of six hundred meter squared, and a twenty one meter screen, that is perched high, the movie display format is unique. You can see larger than life characters, or in other words all the characters will feel larger than life. You will feel how it would feel to be tiny when the rest of the people are huge!

The second technology is 3D based, for which polarized eye-wear should be used to see the 3D pictures. The latest technology for movie viewing is watching a movie in a conclave kind of environment. The viewers will feel like sitting within the characters as they go about their scenes. It is truly an amazing experience, even though it is an illusion. This technological experience in Barcelona is a sharp contrast to the many cultural and traditional experiences that the city can give.

Barcelona’s indeed a place of variety. All the latest and greatest things happen here. It’s a happening place.

Once you have taken care of all the essentials for your wedding it’s time to focus on the fun of having a wedding. The most fun you can have is with your honeymoon. It’s the time where you get to relax from all the wedding stress and focus on starting your marriage out on a fun note. So here is a list of hot spot honeymoon destinations.

Hawaii

Hawaii may be just as easily associated with weddings as wedding rings are. It’s been a very popular destination. With top of the line resorts and the most gorgeous scenery anywhere in the world there are few people who can think of a better place to spend their honeymoon. Of course a Hawaii trip can be expensive so it’s best to start shopping early and find good deals while they are available.

Rome

Rome has a little bit of everything. It’s got amazing history, incredible food, and some of the most interesting and priceless works of art. Rome is so much to pack in that many take an extended honeymoon just to enjoy it all. Europe is a perfect spot for a honeymoon because it’s so costly that getting over there may not always be feasible in the future.

Paris

Very few places evoke the image of romance the way that Paris, France does. This one of a kind French metropolis offers incredible culture and a vibe that is as cool as it is romantic. It’s got great art and amazing monuments. It’s the perfect city to get lost in.

If you are trying to decide where to go make sure it’s somewhere you both have always wanted to go. Spending your trip divided won’t be the proper way to do your honeymoon. Look for places that cater to lovers and romantics. Look for a place that has a one of a kind view. That’s all you need to make it an unforgettable honeymoon.
